My in laws Cyril and Phyllis Williams had an evacuee during WW2 his name was Alan he arrived with his older brother who stayed close by with a neighbour.
The families kept in touch for many years sadly my in laws and Alan have passed away.He was a lovely man and came to stay for holidays with his wife and children to my in laws for many years.
