Wrong station, I’m afraid. They are referring to Dowlais High Street on the LNWR line between Merthyr and Abergavenny. Picture shows Diwlais Cae Harris station of the GWR/RR joint line between Dowlais and Nelson/Llancaiach.
Thank you for pointing that out – totally my fault. I just didn’t read the article properly…..you just can’t get the staff.
