To mark the 80th anniversary of V. J. Day, here is a photograph of the residents of Tramroadside North celebrating V. J. Day in 1945.
In the photograph, along with several members of my family, is my grandfather, David Williams (to the right of the man dressed as a clergyman), who fought in the Burma campaign.
